Community Projects
The Carers Special Grant Project
The Carers Special Grant project provides respite to family carers of adults with learning disabilities who live at home. Our fully trained staff team spend time with the relatives of family carers receiving respite participating in activities chosen by the individual service user.
Community Activity Workers project
The Community Activity Workers project provides support for individuals with learning disabilities who live at home with full time carers and access the Independent Living Fund ’93. Our staff team provide care and support as needed and will design the provision around the needs and desires of the individual.
Small Projects
The Small Projects are individual packages of care or support funded by the local authority and delivered to individuals with learning disabilities who have a sudden need which is extra to their normal life. Our team of staff work with families and the individuals concerned to meet the needs of the project for the time specified, whether it be evenings, accompanying to appointments or during a break from college.
