Publications Group
The Aspire service user Publications Group was set up in March 2011 to produce a regular newsletter called News 4 U. The group consists of six individuals who access Aspire’s services, and two Aspire staff who facilitate the group and the use of the Apple Mac software. 4 issues a year are produced. News 4 U recently welcomed a new editorial facilitator, Peter Taylor, who is volunteering with the group.
The newsletter is written by and for people with learning and physical disabilities, and includes news stories about events, trips and personal experiences.
